Welcome

Welcome to the South Morang Fire Brigade
Proudly serving the South Morang community since 1964

The CFA is one of the world's largest volunteer-based emergency services. There are around 58,000 volunteer members supported by over 400 career fire fighters and officers and more than 700 career support and administrative staff.

Situated in Victoria, there are 2.5 million people and 150,182 square kilometers of land in the CFA area. This area includes more than 980,000 homes, and covers all of rural Victoria, and the provincial cities and towns (except State forests and National Parks). CFA divide the land covered into nine CFA Areas and 20 Regions. South Morang's relatively new $2.18m station, which opened back in 2004, is situated in Region 14 and is one of over 1200 CFA brigades across the state, collectively carrying out a wide range of duties.

Our brigade responds to a number of different incidents from flare-offs to structure fires, grass fires to washaways. Our broader activities include community education and fund-raising.

Feel free to browse our website and look at our photos. We are at the station and have the trucks out every Sunday morning from 9am. If you are passing, feel free to drop in. We'll be happy to talk to you.

There is a guestbook should you wish to leave us your comments!
